Aspen Group Campground is part of the Jackson Meadow complex located on the north east side of Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Aspen Group Campground has 3 group sites; Spring Unit will accommodate up to 50 people, Hill and Ridge Unit will both accommodate up to 25 people. Swimming beach and boat ramp nearby. This location makes a great base camp for activities like: fishing, hunting, hiking, bike riding, boating, swimming, water skiing and sight seeing.This facility is operated by Tahoe Recreation a division California Land Management.

- Located on the west side of the reservoir near the Wood camp Recreation Sites. The Camp Store offers a variety of camping and fishing equipment and supplies; including Ice, Snack, Groceries and Gift items-making it the perfect place to come for those forgotten and needed items.

Additional $2.00 per night fee for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.

Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.

No usage of chainsaw, firearms or fireworks allowed.
No ATV/OHV use in the campground.

Driving direction:
Take I-80 to Truckee, Highway 89 north exit. Follow 89 norths towards Sierraville for 17 miles to Jackson Meadows turn off. Travel westbound on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. A secondary access is by way of Bowman Lake Road off Highway 20.
