Fir Top Campground is part of the Jackson Meadow complex located at the west shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir. At an elevation of 6,100 feet you will find among the beautiful fir and pine trees 12 single family camp sites. Roads are paved with paved back in sites. Fir Top Campground shaded location makes a great base camp for activities like: fishing, hunting, hiking, bike riding, boating, swimming, water skiing and sight seeing.

Located on the west side of the reservoir near the Woodcamp Recreation Sites. The Camp Store offers a variety of camping and fishing equipment and supplies; including ice, snack, groceries and gift items-making it the perfect place to come for those forgotten and needed items.

The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and one legally towed vehicle.
A $5.00 fee per day for extra vehicle will be collected at the campground.
Pets must be leashed at all times, 6 foot maximum.

All equipment must fit on pad.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am and strictly enforced.
Fire restrictions may apply.
Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers.

Driving direction:
Take I-80 to Truckee, Highway 89 north exit. Follow 89 north towards Sierraville for 17 miles to Jackson Meadows turn off. Travel westbound on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. Proceed across the damn and travel on a partially paved and partial graveled surface road for approx 4 miles. A secondary access is by way of Bowman Lake Road off Highway 20.
