Camping in Texas Flats – Sierra National Forest, CA

Texas Flats CampgroundTexas Flats Campground allows equestrian groups and also is known as Manzanita, White Fir, Red Fir, or Cedar. Texas Flat Campground is a fun place to enjoy the tranquility of earth, if the mood should strike you than you can go and see the creek which is beautiful.

There are 4 individual campsites with a maximum amount of 6 campers to each one. This campground is RV accessible as long as your vehicle does not exceed a maximum length of 20 feet. This campground does not provide drinking water so remember to come prepared.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

Take highway 41 through Oakhurst to Road 632, aka “Skyranch Rd.”, Right on 632 7 miles, turn southeast on FS Road 6S40 for 1 mile, then northeast on FS Road 6S08 for 1 mile, then North on 6S38 for 2 miles to Texas Flat Campground.
