Wolf Creek Campground is a newer facility on the north shore of Union Valley Reservoir. The Union Valley Reservoir offers plenty of opportunity for water activities and fishing, the boat ramp is located at nearby Yellow jacket campground. Sailing, boating, swimming and fishing are all available at Union Valley Reservoir, along with mountain biking and hiking.
Firewood is sold at the campground, but depending on weather conditions there may be fire restrictions. Contact the Eldorado Information Center at (530)644-6048 for local information and conditions.
Reservations are available from mid-June through Labor Day weekend. They can be made up to six months in advance but they must be made at least 3 days before your intended arrival date.

The number of vehicles included with the price of the sites has changed to 1 for single and 2 for double sites. Vehicles above those numbers will be charged per day, per vehicle extra vehicle fee on site. There is a maximum of 2 vehicles per single site and 4 for double sites. A trailer or RV plus a tow vehicle count as the 2 vehicle maximum even though it is allowed with the price of the site.
There is a day per pet fee that is collected at the campground.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
CAUTION: Bears and other wildlife are frequently in this area. All food must be kept in approved containers.
