Pine Creek is a California Fishing spot. Pine Creek is located in Inyo County in the State of California. Pine Creek has the latitude and longitude (37.41442, -118.62922) and the altitude is 7500 feet.
Most visitors taking the Pine Creek Road exit are heading for the wilderness, using the trailhead at the end of the road to hike off to Honeymoon Lake, Pine Lake, Upper Pine Lake, and beyond into the high country of the John Muir Wilderness.
The irony is that there are often bigger trout in the stream right along the access road. It is stocked with trout from where Pine Creek Road first crosses the stream on upstream to where the road crosses the stream again, near the mining operation. The plants are usually made right from both bridges, with the Department of Fish and Game plunking in rainbow trout in the 10- to 12-inch class.
Before fishing in Pine Creek you should consult with local guides and regulations. Fishermen who have fished at Pine Creek are encouraged to post reviews of the Pine Creek Fish types and any images they want to share with others.
