Driving Direction:
Take U.S.395 to Lone Pine and Whitney Portal Road (at a traffic light in the center of town). Turn west at Whitney Portal Road and drive for 3.5 miles to Horseshoe Meadow Road. Turn south on Horseshoe Meadow Road and drive 1.5 miles to Tuttle Creek Road. Turn west on Tuttle Creek Road (a winding, dirt road) and drive directly into the campground. Access is possible both at and near the campground.
